Dan Pal studied at the University of Chicago and taught film and television at DePaul University and Moraine Valley Community College where he received the Adjunct Professor of the Year award in 2015. Dan has reviewed films for WDCB FM and Que4Radio.com. His current film, television, and music reviews can be found at danpal.substack.com and PalCinema.com. In addition, Dan is the Writer/Director/Producer of the short film trilogy consisting of Scotty Works OUT, Scotty & Josh Get Enlightened, & Another Party with Scotty. He also directed and produced the award-winning short Counting and the personal memoir Harriet & Her Husbands. His films have played at film festivals throughout the U.S. and Europe. He has also programmed and coordinated several film festivals, including the Pride Film Festival in Chicago.
