I’ve been writing movie reviews since 2008 and have been a member of the Critics’ Choice Association since 2009. As the “Med City Movie Guy,” I am heard regularly on KROC radio. I like to say that my job isn’t to chime in on tentpoles like The Avengers, which have no shortage of opinions, but to amplify lesser-known films that may not be on my audience’s radar. That’s what I like best: discovering and sharing those gems.

In addition to film commentary, I am also a history buff and wannabe humor writer; as there is little Venn overlap, I am working on three book projects concurrently.
