Before America has been in a civil war with a casualty life of 620,000, Today we are approaching what appear to be a new rise of the confederacy within a new civil war with COVID taking in an American casualty list of 389,000 with more to come.

Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln” looks at the time when a man was faced with similar catastrophes, but was able to steer the sheep towards the sands of time for a better tomorrow. I look back at a time when America has prevailed before with a U.S. History major from Northwestern University. My mother! On how we can prevail amongst incredible sacrifice.
