Have you seen KNIVES OUT yet? It’s likely going to be number one at the box office this Thanksgiving weekend and it’s not hard to see why. It’s an exceptionally clever, star-studded, murder mystery that has enthralled crowds since its debut on the festival circuit.

Writer/director Rian Johnson does a masterful job of riffing on Agatha Christie’s tropes, yet he mixes and mashes them up too, creating a procedural that feels almost entirely fresh and new.

I reviewed it at Creative Screenwriting magazine this past week and you can link to my rave review here: https://bit.ly/2rwyO3m

But only here at The Establishing Shot, can you find my caricature of the KNIVES OUT cast accompanying my review. Enjoy!
