New Podcast from Kevin McLenithan on Christ and Pop Culture: Seeing and Believing 215 | Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett’s Ready or Not and Joe Talbot’s The Last Black Man in San Fransisco

With Kevin out this week, Wade is joined by film critic Sarah Welch-Larson to discuss ‘Ready or Not, the new horror-comedy from Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The film’s synopsis is pretty straightforward: on her wedding night, a young bride named Grace (played by Samara Weaving) is reeled into a terrifying game of hide and seek by her wealthy in-laws. Now, with hours until dawn, Grace must fight to survive the night…and her new family. Talk about crazy in-laws.

In their second segment, the Wade and Sarah discusses ‘The Last Black Man in San Fransisco,’ the new drama from director Joe Talbot. It’s a balance between deadly games and gentrification on Episode 215 of Seeing and Believing.
