previews the 7th Chicago Critics Film Festival

It’s as if the 2019 Chicago Critics Film Festival was scheduled just for me. With a 40th anniversary screening of Alien and actor Tom Skerritt in person for a post-screening Q&A, I was instantly hooked into covering this festival in it’s 7th year of success. You add in a collection of must-see movies from Sundance, SXSW and Tribeca, and you have one hell of an awesome lineup of movies. Taking place at Chicago’s historic Music Box Theatre, this festival has quickly become the best film festival in Chicago by far. They have everything you could want, from action films, horror flicks, to documentaries, to emotional dramas, a spectacular collection of guests, and so much more. There is such a good lineup, wanted to take a moment and highlight some of the movies that you should keep on your radar. Don’t go to the Chicago Critics Festival and let these movies pass you by:
