Sometimes single-minded focus on a goal makes you the endearing hero of a heist movie, and sometimes it makes you a weird technology addict with boundary issues. Wade and Kevin spend today’s episode exploring both sides of the coin as they review Steven Soderbergh’s return to the big screen, Logan Lucky (starring Channing Tatum as the man who would rob NASCAR blind), and Matt Spicer’s debut Ingrid Goes West (starring Parks and Recreation‘s Aubrey Plaza as an unhinged Instagram stalker).

It’s a special foodie-friendly episode of the podcast this week! Wade and Kevin open with a look at the third movie in Michael Winterbottom, Steven Coogan, and Rob Brydon’s series about two actors (not-coincidentally named Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon) eating fancy food in Europe and bantering all the while. This year is also the 30th birthday of Gabriel Axel’s classic Babette’s Feast, which is as good a reason as any for the guys to revisit it for one of their retro reviews. How does the Danish film about food, community, and creative joy hold up, three decades on? Seeing & Believing is on the case.
